Enchanted Kingdom Brings Back the Magic: The Wheel of Fate Returns

Santa Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas, EK COO Cynthia Mamon, and Integrated Marketing Head Nico Mamon led the relaunching ceremony of the Wheel of Fate

There’s something about Enchanted Kingdom that feels like stepping into a childhood memory—bright lights, laughter in the air, and rides that seem to hold stories of generations. And now, one of its most iconic attractions is making a grand comeback.

The legendary Wheel of Fate is back, and it’s shining brighter than ever.

A Classic Reimagined

After taking a four-month pause for enhancements, Enchanted Kingdom officially relaunched its beloved Ferris wheel last March 21 as the centerpiece of its campaign, “The Legend Shines Again.”

But this isn’t just a simple reopening.

The Wheel of Fate has been refreshed with:

    • A new thematic look
    • A smoother and more comfortable ride experience
    • Upgraded ride system technology

These updates are part of EK’s broader mission to preserve and modernize its iconic attractions—ensuring that they continue to create magical memories for years to come.

A Ride Through Generations

Since Enchanted Kingdom first opened its gates in 1995, the Wheel of Fate has stood tall—literally and symbolically—as one of the park’s most cherished attractions.

Rising 130 feet above the ground, the ride offers breathtaking views of Santa Rosa, Laguna. But more than the view, it offers something harder to measure: nostalgia.

For many Filipinos, it’s:

    • A first date spot
    • A family bonding tradition
    • A quiet moment above the bustling park

And at night, the Wheel becomes even more special—lighting up the park and serving as a glowing centerpiece of the EK experience.

Star-Studded Relaunch

The return of the Wheel of Fate wasn’t just announced—it was celebrated in true Enchanted Kingdom fashion.

Guests were treated to a vibrant relaunch event featuring:

    • A live performance by EK’s P-pop girl group SMS, debuting their new song “The Legend Shines Again”
    • A nostalgic musical set by OPM band The Bloomfields
    • A special appearance by the cast of My Husband is a Mafia Boss, who unveiled an interactive photobooth

Adding even more excitement, Lion City Youth Inc. teased their upcoming tourism initiative, Hello Santa Rosa, in collaboration with EK.

The ceremony was attended by notable figures including Santa Rosa City Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas, EK COO Cynthia R. Mamon, Ph.D., and Head of Integrated Marketing Nico R. Mamon.

And because no Enchanted Kingdom event is complete without a bit of spectacle, the night ended with a dazzling Sky Wizardry Fireworks Display and an energetic flash mob led by EK’s Storyverse characters.

The Magic Continues

The Wheel of Fate is now open once again, welcoming guests daily from 12 PM to 8 PM during park operations.

Whether you’re revisiting a childhood favorite or experiencing it for the first time, the ride offers a chance to pause, take in the view, and feel that familiar sense of wonder.

Because at Enchanted Kingdom, some legends don’t just return—they shine even brighter.
