EK Welcomes Prosperity And Happiness With The Year Of Snaptooth The Snake, A Chinese New Year Celebration

Enchanted Kingdom, the first and only world-class theme park in the Philippines, welcomes magic and luck with a vibrant and immersive Chinese New Year celebration as it kicks off its 30th anniversary this 2025!

The Year of Snaptooth the Snake is set to leave guests forever enchanted with breathtaking cultural showcases, special food and dining offers inspired by the tradition, and festive decorations, among other things, from January 29 to February 9.

The celebration commenced at EK with the first 300 guests receiving red envelopes upon the opening of EK’s magical gates. Everyone was also given the opportunity to meet and greet EK’s beloved character Snaptooth, as well as dig into the limited-time offer of Snaptooth’s Prosperity Set Meal from Amazon Grill and LaunchTime restaurants. Plus, there is a 10% special food offering discount for those who would like to refuel their energy at the Snaptooth Snack Station.

Thousands of guests were dazzled by the Enchanted Lunar New Year Parade as it made its way across the streets of Portabello, Brooklyn Place, and Spaceport zones during the day. The symbolic lion and dragon also ushered in the magic of prosperity and good luck for everyone as they pranced around the park.

At nighttime, the park guests once again witnessed the Enchanted Lunar New Year Parade followed by the colorful performance of the LED lion dance to the beat of traditional Chinese drums. Snaptooth even joined the two mighty lions as they made their stop in front of the Eldar’s Theater to shower even more good luck on the crowd.

EK topped off the festivities with the enchanting spectacle of lights at the Sky Wizardry Fireworks Display.

Dance under the melody of dazzling lights and festive holiday music at the Eldar’s Brooklyn Symphony. Be enchanted by the lighting ceremony of the unique Enchanted Christmas Tree, adorned with the sparkling EK Storybook Characters decor. Sing along to classic Filipino Christmas songs playing at EK’s 22-foot Grand Parol, created by renowned Pampanga lantern maker Eric Bondoc Quiwa.

Groove with powerhouse dance crew G-Force, and don’t miss out on world-class Filipino music talent with the internationally-renowned De La Salle Santiago Zobel (DLSZ) Rondalla as they serenade us with their enchanting performance of Christmas carols.

EK’s homegrown talents, SMS, Victoria’s Way and the Kingsmen, will also be there to spread the magic through a series of spectacular musical performances.

And finally, to cap off the night, create more lasting memories with the Timeless Magic Fireworks Show to the tune of EK’s 29th-anniversary theme song, composed and sung by our very own P-Pop girl group SMS.

Homegrown EK Talents and Weekend Carols

This December, embrace the magical spirit of the holidays with our Christmas shows.

EK is set to showcase our homegrown talents through the play A Very Timeless Christmas featuring Eldar the Wizard, Princess Victoria, Princess Madeline, and SMS. Victoria’s Way and The Kingsmen and SMS will serenade guests with Christmas Songs at EK’s bandstand. Also, watch out for the Christmastime Parade and enchanting live carols every weekend this December!

During Cafe Mary Grace’s soft launch at the EK Portico in City of Santa Rosa, Enchanted Kingdom (EK), the Philippines’ first and only world-class theme park, teams up with another renowned Filipino brand to offer even more enchanted experiences to everyone.

The EK Portico, which is situated next to the park’s entrance, is a component of the theme park’s 28th anniversary promise to provide an improved shopping and dining experience even when the park is closed.

Enchanted Kingdom Turns Over 10th and 11th Brigada Eskwela Classroom

Enchanted Kingdom, the first and only world-class theme park in the Philippines, turned over its 10th and 11th adopted classrooms to Southville Elementary School, Santa Rosa, on July 26. Two (2) Kindergarten classrooms were adopted for improvement in support of the 2024 Brigada Eskwela of the Department of Education (DepEd).

The Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide school maintenance program that engages all education stakeholders to contribute their time, efforts, and resources to ensure all public schools are set up in time for class opening. This year’s theme is once again “Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan.”

This is the 10th year that EK is supporting the said program in fulfilment of the theme park’s advocacy of promoting a fun, unique, and healthy learning environment for students. EK’s very own maintenance personnel and visual artists repaired, upgraded and repainted the turned-over classrooms.

Mr. Mario O. Mamon, Chairman and CEO of Enchanted Kingdom, reaffirmed EK’s steadfast support for DepEd’s Balik Eskwela program and expressed his desire to expand the reach of EK’s initiative beyond the city of Santa Rosa as well as the province of Laguna.

“What we have been doing here at Brigada Eskwela is more than just repainting walls. We are bringing the magical experience of Enchanted Kingdom to our dear students through our colorful murals. And of course, we have decorated the walls with our five core values that we would like to impart to them while they are still young,” he added.

Mr. Mamon furthered that he is glad to have the opportunity to share EK’s core values of love of God, respect, integrity, loyalty and innovativeness to the students, and encourage them to put it into practice.

The turnover ceremony was graced by no less than Santa Rosa City Vice Mayor Arnold Arcillas, as well as Southville Elementary School Head Teacher II Maria Marlene Furio, DepEd Santa Rosa Senior Education Program Specialist Jayson Sagaysay, Cluster III Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Soledad Baylon, School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) President Aileen Cielos, Barangay Caingin Captain Edwin Servo, teachers, parents, and students.

EK Brings Back An Enchanting World Pets Day Event This April

Enchanted Kingdom, the first and only world-class theme park in the Philippines, will hold Ogg’s Pet Day Out on April 28, 2024, exclusively at the Enchanting Events Place Reception Lobby in celebration of World Pets Day. This event will provide a magical experience for guests and their pets, particularly dogs and cats.

This event will feature a pet blessing, a biscuit eating contest, a pet fashion show, an online photo contest, and more activities specially curated for pet owners and their furry friends. Additionally, the City Veterinarian Office of Santa Rosa, Laguna, will provide and administer 50 anti-rabies vaccines to raise awareness of the importance of pet vaccination.

Ms. Cherina Consunji, Head of the Merchandise Division, shared that EK will introduce a range of merchandise especially made for pets and their owners. To bring home the magic of EK, special treats and gifts also await all participating guests.

“We are very excited to bring back this enchanting World Pets Day event since we first held it in 2019. This event is dedicated to our guests’ furry companions as we acknowledge how their unconditional love improves human lives,” Ms. Consunji added.

In partnership with the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), participants will also learn more about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership during the said event.

Ticket booking is available online (EKOS) and onsite (walk-in). An event pass that includes a pet and pet owner starts at Php 1000, while an event pass with park and ride access starts at Php 1,900. For safety purposes, park-and-ride access is only allowed for hoomans.
