Home Credit Philippines (HCPH) recently held celebratory events for its 14,000-strong workforce in honor of its 10th anniversary. For the first time in the company’s history, the top consumer financing firm invited its employees, their families, and friends to celebrations held at different resorts and convention centers around the country.

An enchanting day in the Enchanted Kingdom was planned for more than 6,700 employees from Metro Manila and neighboring regions, guaranteeing maximum fun. For those two days, the theme park was off-limits to the public. Workers received two standard day passes, spending money, a complimentary photo to commemorate the occasion, and a reimbursement for their transportation costs. Additionally, each employee may bring up to five guests.

Its promise of “no small roles” was kept. Employees from HCPH’s 30 regional offices enjoyed a variety of outdoor and aquatic activities at adjacent resorts and conference centers to honor the company’s “everyone matters” motto.
Since we opened for business in the Philippines a year ago, the Home Credit family has expanded greatly. In just a decade, we went from 158 personnel to the staggering 14,000 we have today. To keep our employees in peak emotional and physical health during this expansion, we require their full participation. Everyone here knows how important our employees are to our business’s success. We respond by giving them chances to succeed on a personal level and redirecting their attention to other parts of their lives, such as their mental health. Chief People Officer Alpha Omega Aquino of HCPH noted that this work break is one of several initiatives to encourage a healthy work-life balance in honor of the company’s tenth anniversary.
