TeaM Energy Donates Life-Saving Medical Equipment to Quezon Province Hospitals

Quezon Governor Angelina Helen Tan (center) is shown formally receiving from TeaM Energy, represented by Froilan Gregory H. The donation, facilitated by TeaM Energy Foundation Inc. (TEFI), aims to support the improvement of the province’s public healthcare services—a priority of Gov. Tan. The life-saving items include two clinical incubators, four photography lights, two infant warmers and resuscitation tables, and two fetal dopplers. On October 25, 2024, TeaM Energy completed the turnover of the 1,200 MW SPS in Sual, Pangasinan, to the Philippine government through PSALM. The plant was built under a 25-year Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) scheme with the national government, then represented by the NPC. On the same day as TeaM Energy’s transfer of the plant to NPC and PSALM, Sual Power Inc., a subsidiary of San Miguel Global Power (SMGP) received the facility from PSALM. 

TeaM Energy, Cebu Mitsumi Inc. Close Power Supply Agreement

TeaM (Philippines) Energy Corporation (TPEC) a subsidiary of TeaM Energy Corporation recently closed a retail power supply agreement with manufacturing firm Cebu Mitsumi Inc. (CMI). Shown in the photo during the contract signing in CMI’s Cebu offices are representatives of both firms led by Tristan Taghoy, President, TPEC (3rd from left) and Tatsuya Mori, President, CMI (3rd from right). The power supply agreement will help power CMI’s manufacturing plants in Cebu, enabling it to utilize 100% renewable energy in both of its facilities in the province. CMI manufactures mechanical and electronic devices and components such as micro-actuators, cameras, connectors, and semiconductors. Under the agreement, TPEC will provide an equivalent International Renewable Energy Certificate (I-REC) from a renewable energy plant to match every megawatt-hour consumption of CMI for the duration of the whole supply period. TeaM Energy Awarded for Business Communication Excellence

TeaM Energy received two Quill Awards of Merit from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) during the recently concluded IABC Quill Awards. Recognizing excellence in communication, the awards highlight TeaM Energy’s 2023 calendar series, which features the company’s dedication to corporate social responsibility and sustainable practices, and TeaM Energy’s compelling short documentary on its water system installation project in waterless communities in Pagbilao, Quezon. These programs are a testament to the power firm’s commitment to sustainability, environmental conservation, and community development. Receiving the awards are Caros Roxas and Angela Rebueno, External Affairs Associates of TeaM Energy.
