Reinforcing its dedication to environmental stewardship and cleaner coastal areas, 2GO Group, Inc. organized 149 employee volunteers across major coastal sites nationwide for this year’s International Coastal Cleanup (ICC), working with SM Cares.

As part of the global event, 2GO teams joined cleanup efforts in Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga, Davao, Cebu, and Manila, clearing debris from shorelines and aiding cleaner coastal communities.
In Manila, 2GO volunteers gathered 207 kilograms of waste from the sites. The company estimates that the 149 volunteers redirected about 768 kilograms of coastal waste across all locations.
Beyond staffing, 2GO has strengthened its ICC backing through material gifts and logistics. Since starting its 2023 partnership with SM Cares, the firm has broadened support to equip volunteers and move vital cleanup supplies.
Supporting cleanup efforts through people, supplies, and logistics
For this year’s national effort, 2GO provided protective gloves for volunteers, extending earlier donations of cleanup sacks in 2024 and 2025.
The firm also arranged end-to-end transport and logistics for delivering heavy-duty weighing scales to sites nationwide. Expanding on 2025 logistics, this service helped ensure accurate weighing and recording of collected waste.
By pairing volunteer commitment with focused material aid and logistics, 2GO advances shared action toward cleaner coasts and healthier communities.
As a transport and logistics firm serving the Philippine archipelago, 2GO values backing the communities and coasts linked by its network. Its ongoing ICC involvement shows 2GO’s resolve to apply its people, resources, and skills to environmental work across the nation.
